The QML scripts aren’t ideal. They have to be reloaded after every change of settings and the correct scheme of icons with the Latte theme doesn’t seem do be always applied correctly, but those are problems of QOwnNotes itself and the design of scripting. If you think that they should be dropped and just the editor scheme should be kept, I’m OK with that. But I can imagine it being preferred by someone (who doesn’t have a system-wide Qt-theme, or who wants the theme to resemble the dark theme by QOwnNotes, just with the Catppuccin colors).
