Issue HikariPool-6 - Connection is not available, request timed out after 300000ms. postgres 11.0 database and Hikari pool

Sometime active connection count reach at maximum limit in hikkari pool. We have reviewed and found that connection has been properly closed everywhere in applications. After close the connection in application , Hikari should release the connection from active pool but unfortunately this not happened. Due to this application going slow and get hanging state frequently.

We have put below configuration for Hikari.

We have configured maximum connection limt 1000 in db configuration.
