Proposal: Polish localization pilot (pl-PL)

I would like to propose a Polish (pl-PL) localization pilot for AI Agents in Depth.

I reviewed the repository's current internationalization structure, existing language editions, build process, and previous localization contributions, including the PT-BR integration.

Rather than preparing a large translation immediately, I would like to begin with a small, reviewable pilot.

Proposed pilot

The initial contribution would contain:

• a small proposed Polish terminology glossary,
• a translated introduction or another short representative section,
• a limited sample covering important technical terminology,
• source-version identification for traceability,
• human technical and language review.

The purpose of the pilot would be to validate:

• terminology,
• translation quality,
• structural conventions,
• the expected source/reference relationship,
• and the preferred integration approach

before committing to a complete Polish edition.

Translation approach

My current understanding is that the original Chinese edition should be treated as the normative content source, while the English edition may be used as a semantic and structural reference. I would appreciate confirmation that this matches the project's expectations.

The pilot would explicitly track terminology decisions for concepts such as:

• agent harness,
• context engineering,
• tool calling,
• trajectory,
• agent evaluation,
• multi-agent systems.

AI tools may assist with drafting and structural consistency checks. Any such assistance would be disclosed, and the Polish text would remain subject to human technical and language review.

Questions before starting

Could you please confirm:

1. Would you welcome a Polish localization?
2. Would you prefer a small pilot PR first, or a complete translation contribution?
3. Should the original Chinese edition be treated as the normative content source, with the English edition used as a semantic and structural reference?
4. Which directory and filename convention should be used for Polish?
5. Can the pilot initially reuse existing illustrations without translating text embedded in images?
6. Does a new localization need PDF/EPUB integration in the first PR, or could that follow after the textual translation is accepted?
7. Would keeping a small Polish terminology glossary alongside the localization be acceptable?
8. Is AI-assisted translation acceptable when explicitly disclosed and subject to human technical and language review?
9. Are there any additional localization or review requirements not currently documented in the repository?

If this approach is acceptable, I would prepare a small first PR according to your preferred structure before expanding the localization further.
