Can we get back the local only projects?

I wonder how most people use vibe-kanban. For me, I just use it myself on one machine. So, I really don't want to host a full service, I just want to have a local db with projects and issues to work from. It seems that with the cloud shutdown we lost an easy way to use this awesome tool. What are people doing to keep using vibe-kanban? Are you going through the full local hosting approach? It seems overkill.
