Show full image in message detail view instead of cropped preview

When a message contains an image attachment, the app crops taller images in the message list instead of scaling them to fit. To see the whole picture you have to tap the attachment and open it separately.

Would it be possible to scale images to fit the available width so the entire image is visible inline? The extra tap gets annoying when you receive a lot of camera snapshots (my use case: motion detection images from IP cameras).

It would make the app noticeably more pleasant for image-heavy topics.
