Finally got around to posting this paper I wrote in 2024: Detecting virtualisation platforms using the CPUID instruction. There are a bunch of novel CPUID-based detection tricks in there that I don't think Al-Khaser has yet. Unfortunately I don't have the time to implement them myself, but most of them are pretty easy to do. Let me know if you have any questions.
