skhd asks for access to audio and video when using ffmpeg

When recording with ffmpeg (`ffpeg -f avfoundation -i ":0" audio.wav), a pop-up shows with skhd requesting access to microphone (system audio). Same goes for camera when trying to record screen casts.

Why is this? I would expect that it would be my terminal emulator that should request access? This is more of a curiosity, although it does alert me a little bit with security / privacy implications.
