Alacritty freezes when switching between windows

Hi, I'm almost sure this started since bumping to the new 0.17.0 version. I am on Ubuntu 22.04 and using the i3 window manager. I use tmux. If I have multiple stacked windows on the same desktop - when I start from alacritty then switch to firefox browser then switch back to alacritty -- then 80% of the time the terminal will be stuck i.e. it won't accept input and won't respond to any keyboard press at all. The only thing that solves this is to exit alacritty and open it back. Since I use tmux that's fine since I always attach to the same session, but it's still very annoying.
