[Bug] Blur stopped working in KDE Plasma Wayland 6.7

there was an update to how kwin handles request to blur the background and now blur no longer works. it seems to have started to happen in kwin 6.7 and if I revert back to kwin 6.5 it works again so something changed with kwin causing blur to stop working. if you require more information I can provide it on request thanks Ozzy
