About right click and drag 3D models

When I right click (not releasing mouse) and drag the two 3D models (desktop pc and earth) abruptly, they will float around in the scene randomly and sometimes just end up in some random place out of my view. Is it a bug or feature? How can I disable the right click then drag operation to avoid users mistakenly dragging models out of scene?
