HTML/DIV stripped on Gmail send
Author: um-jgladCreated Feb 23, 2026Updated Feb 23, 2026
Description
When sending from an enterprise/university gmail account, the markdown rendering goes away after being sent. When looking at the original message, the html/div seems to have been stripped. Sending rendered content from a personal gmail seems unaffected. I'm not positive is this is a bug or "feature" due to some configuration at the enterprise level.
Environment
Test on firefox and google chrome.
