0-width space in nicknames causing problems for screen reader

So ever since #175 got fixed and this nopingnick option got added, this has created an accessibility barrier and confusion.

Sighted users will never see the 0-width space inserted after the first character of a nickname, which is all good and well...

Until a blind user comes along and wonders why everyone at the end of a bridge to another irc network has a n ickname.

I honestly think this should be revisited. It might be invisible to sighted people, but for those of us who are blind, the text to speech interprets this character as it would a regular space.
