Rewriting one article
From the handbook to the rewrite prompt and the annotation demo: one article the model can grasp as facts, structure, and sources.
A GEO article is not a keyword pile. After the rewrite, a model should be able to say what problem the piece solves, which facts matter, where they come from, and how the subject differs from its neighbors.
Suggested order
- Read the method and single-article tutorial and fix the job of the piece plus the checks you will use.
- Run the GEO rewrite prompt. Keep checkable facts and sources. Do not flatten the piece into a vague summary.
- Use the GEO feature-annotation demo to mark the question, entities, steps, comparisons, and citations, then see which spans a model actually picks up.
- Score it against the handbook and evaluation standard. If it fails, change structure and evidence, not only the title.
What to watch
- Define the subject and its boundary in one opening sentence.
- Put facts, numbers, and proper names in their own sentences, with a source.
- Write steps as an order someone can follow, and comparisons on explicit dimensions.
- Cut slogans and repeated leads that a model cannot restate.
