What content shapes, and what constrains it

A page changes how others answer a question, and it is constrained by platforms, sources, and responsibility.

Engineering shapes the society that uses it, and society sets what engineering may not do. A content system runs in both directions.

Outward: a set of pages changes what people hear after a question. If your definition is restated steadily, it becomes the default boundary of the subject. That is influence, and it is responsibility. After a wrong boundary is restated, correction costs more than an extra limit would have cost at the start.

Inward: how platforms crawl, how answer products cite, and how sources license and update are external constraints. An ideal structure that ignores them does not run. If a source forbids long excerpts, the design becomes a short fact plus a link, not a pasted paragraph.

Ethics here is concrete. Do not write an uncertain figure as certain in order to be cited. Do not narrow a competitor's scope to manufacture a comparison. Do not present an internal guess as a published fact. The evaluation standard should list these prohibitions, and a rejection should cite the item, not a feeling.

Social constraints change. When channel rules, model behavior, or regulation move, change the gate and the fact grades. Do not leave every old page to luck. Constraints written as rules in the system change the next drafts together.
